COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course is designed to enhance the knowledge, skills and attitude of household workers in accordance with industry standards. It covers the basic, common and core competencies on cleaning living room, dining room, bedrooms, toilet and kitchen, washing and ironing clothes, linen and fabric, preparing hot and cold meals/food, and providing food and beverage service. This includes common competencies: maintain an effective relationship with clients / customers, and manage own performance. It also includes basic competencies such as, participate in workplace communication, work in a team environment, practice career professionalism, and practice occupational health and safety procedures. The common competency –Maintain an effective relationship with clients and customers has been contextualized to include the provisions of Kasambahay law, e.g., standard employment contract, rights and privileges, pre-employment requirements, working conditions, barangay registrations, social and other benefits, etc

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Trainees or students wishing to enroll in this course qualification should possess the following requirements:

• Must be able to read and write

• Physically and mentally fit;

• With good moral character

• Transcript of Records (OTR) - original and 4 long photocopies

• Certificate of Good Moral Character - original and 4 long photocopies

     B. FOR ELEMENTARY GRADUATE / HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE:

• Elementary / High School Diploma - original and 4 long photocopies

• Form 138 or Form 137 - original and 4 long photocopies

• Certificate of Good Moral Character - original and 4 long photocopies

     C. FOR ALS GRADUATE

• ALS Certificate - original and 4 long photocopies

• Certification of Grade - original and 4 long photocopies
